cheap flights needed! help

Hi everyone. I'm struggling trying to find DECENT prices. My BF and I have been accepted to a few schools in England and we have decided we really need to visit to figure out if this is the way to go. Well, flights are out of this world! I have checked all of the normal sites....expedia, orbitz, travelocity, etc...any secrets anyone can share? We are super flexible with dates....! Thanks in advance!

but if you are try studentuniverse.com! they have the cheapest flights around for students anywhere! Amandapanda got me hooked on it. I got a flight home for easter through student universe for 200 bucks lower than expedia, and the other travel websites.

Try studentuniverse, as Ash suggested, and you also might want to check out www.visitlondon.com as they sometimes have deals. Also sometimes you are better off going to the airline's own site, so check out Virgin, British Air, American, and Continental. I was in a long-distance relationship with a Londoner (I live in NYC) so I've done the trip quite a few times. This time of year you shouldn't pay more than 350-400 if you're careful. Anything under that is rare.

Just fyi, and not to burst your bubble, but living in London is CRAZY expensive (and that's coming from a NY'er!). So I don't know where the schools are that you are looking at, but that's obviously something to consider.

thanks. I'll check them out. I used studentuniverse when I studied abroad 2 years ago. I am looking to got o school in Coventry at U of Warwick...b/c I know how horribly expensive London is! My goodness...I would have to sell my left arm to pay for just sandwich there! haha. visitlondon is a great place to look! Thanks:)
