Hi guys,

Just thought I pop in to share a bit of sorta happy news, rather than all the downer stuff I've had to post lately.
I am in the process of giving myself a mini makeover at the moment, and it's much fun.
I haven't been clothes shopping for almost a year (except for a special occasion where I bought a dress, and some office clothes for job interviews) and I realised that I have been rotating the same few items of clothing for work every day.
So I went out and spent.. well, too much really! , on new clothes and it was SO FUN. I had a couple hundred dollars of gift certificates saved up from my birthday and Christmas and stuff, so I went crazy! I got a lot of stuff on sale, but still spend quite a bit -- thank goodness for the gift certificates! I got..
- Pair of "trouser jeans"
- Emerald green sweater
- Beige zip-up sweater
- Black outdoor jacket (my most expensive purchase, but I LOVE IT!)
- Greenish khaki jacket with belt, so cute! I have been looking for a little jacket for ages, but have never been able to find one 'cause of my stupid boobs - so excited
- New yoga pants
- 4 t-shirts (pink, green, blue, and black): good for layering
- Green/Brown sweater shrug - so cute
- Grey'ish top with square scoop neck - very flattering.
- Black knitted hoodie
- WHite tank top with embroidery at the top

It's a lot, but I finally have clothes I can wear every day - I am so happy.

Then I went and got my legs waxed yesterday at a new place and the lady did a WAY better job than my normal lady AND I booked an appointment for the end of the month for laser hair removal for my bikini line 'cause I get really bad ingrowns there and they are having a special (and I am going to Mexico in May!).

And then TODAY I am going to get my haircut with a girl who has done a really good job on my hair in the past, so I am excited.

Yesterday I spent ages packing clothes into boxes and stuff (stuff that I never wear for office work and stuff, stuff that doesn't fit at the moment (too big and too small) and then stuff that it is too cold to wear at the moment) so that I can organize my very limited clothing space better with the new clothes that I actually WILL be wearing.

Will try and post a pic after my haircut, maybe wearing some of my new clothes!
Very exciting.

Cheers!

I hope you aren't teasing me! I would LOVE to do that with you! I love the outlet malls, we used to come over the border for that reason only!
What fun, what fun!

It would be a blast.... there is one in North Bend that I know of....and also Auburn Supermall, I'm not sure what all is there. All the ones that I have been to are in Oregon....so if you want to make it a LONG trip....maybe the four of us can go to the coast... like Lincoln City..... I think we know each other well enough that we could even share a room.... two qweens and split the cost......

we will SHOP...

P.S. Shane LOVES the outlet malls too....

... but when I read your post, I literally clapped my hands! Hee hee.
That would be so fun - I have never been to Oregon and Adrian LOVES road trips.. Just would have to make sure tummy was up for the journey, and that would be kick-butt fantastic!
How exciting!

Hi guys,

Well, I just got back from the hairdresser and I LOVE it. I didn't colour it this time, I will when I get back from holiday but I had my side bangs cut back into my hair and took a few inches off (it had gotten really long).
The picture here looks pretty much the same as all my other pictures - I should really post one with curly hair, which is what my hair is naturally but oh well!
Here it is!

Stephie, have you lost weight? your face looks thin in your new pic? I am not trying to insult you, because you have always looked nice in all of your pictures I just wanna know your secret lol. From reading the fitness board I know you were trying to and looks like you have. Congrats on the new clothes, where would we be without malls????
I think we should have an IBS-er shopaholic fling!

Hey guys!
The first pics were from my webcam, so Adrian took a couple for me... So here are two more, and two with my gorgeous puppy Ranger, who has crazy eyes in these pictures but is still super cute!

Hey there!

Thanks for the compliment, but I haven't really lost any weight. I am about 5 lbs less than I was before, but my weight has fluctuated so much that it'll probably be back soon - I am still getting over the bronchitis that seemed to cause that weight loss.

AS you can see in the new ones I put up, my face is still pretty chubby.. but I couldn't resist posting pics with puppy!

I definitely don't let myself let loose at the mall very often, but when I do... look out! Hee hee.

Cheers!

Stephie, you look great! I love your new hair. I like the hoodie and your pants. Are those jeans? So cute!!! I like the first picture the best because we can see your pretty face and great smile and your long neck.

OH, and your puppy is gorgeous!

Ah, I need a makeover too. You've inspired me to try something new!

I love the new clothes, the colour of your zip up is one of my favs. I think we could be twins actually now that I think about it. I have had a pic of my cat up for awhile but maybe it is time for a new one. My hair is very similar in style to yours and I wear it curly most often but straighten it sometimes too. Mine has blond and red highlights though with a dark brown base.
Weird!!! and I agree about the mall thing too, can't go there very often because when I do, watch out!!
glad to hear you are having some fun though!

I've seen your userpic before but these pics give me a much better sense of what you actually look like! You have really beautiful hair... it looks really healthy and shiny too. And the cut is gorgeous!

I agree, makovers are FUN and sometimes just what you need too... I love that feeling of just getting a crazy new/different haircut... makes you feel like a different person for a while, eh?

Again, gorgeous

You don't need color, your hair is pretty! I wish I had a pretty hair color so I wouldn't feel compelled to color it. I'm getting a makeover too on Friday, I'll post before and after pics. Trust me, my hair is so utterly boring right now you will wonder why I waited so long! I'm going totally different color, cut and style! (Aren't makeovers the best?)
