He did an awesome job. How does he do the lighting, etc., does he have a studio and stuff?
Is he local to Sherwood Park (I noticed it in your sig)? I'm just in Edmonton actually, so if need photos done I'd sure like to keep that in mind.
What is the pricing like?

ha ha, that's cool! I thought the closest IBSer was Stephie in van! Anyhow, yes, hes in the park. He has a studio he works out of-Burch Photographics. They are a very cool studio and do the wildest things with pictures. i wish I could show some of his art off but he'd kill me, LOL!
Anyhow, I have no idea the cost because, honestly, he's family and has never charged me a cent. He's great though, and can make me look pretty...wow!
I can certainly find out for you or...wait...he's blueprint photography-bet there's an email addy I can find for you!
So what side of town are you from??

What side of town? Um...not really any side. I guess the most accurate description is "the rancid cesspool known as the downtown core". ROFL.
Definitely makes the world seem a little bit smaller when you have a 'neighbor'.
Maybe you could tell him that I'm family so I could get some free pics taken. I can be your 4th cousin thrice removed (if there is such a thing)!
Warm regards, EvilCats

Downtownie!! Brave! that's ok, if it's any consolation, even growing up in the west end, my friends all had guns and knives. that was, of course, belmead, right beside good ol WEM- i had about ten jobs in WEM so noooo big whoopty doo for me,LOL.

It goes along well with my Aquarian/Piscean cusp multiple personalities! LOL-but you're right, I do! Odd.

What do I even say to that? You are so sweet! I don't feel gorgeous most of the time, but his pics give me confidence....I like my face but DESPISE my body. I have major mental issues over being a size 16-18. I do have a pretty face, I guess. But you my dear, are also beautiful!

Um, no, not really...but it's for handing out to each teacher as I teach for them. It's got my picture, my contact info and my request number(they put this in to the system to ask for me to come in.)
I've gotten a lot of business this way. Not every teacher has a business card, and few people have their pic on it. It basically guarantees a "client base" as teachers can pick their fave subs to come back. (That, and the kids get to have a say in it too! )
Honestly, out of the days I've been available to teach, I've taught every day so far. I'm very busy. I've actually had to turn down about eight teachers so far this month, if you can believe it.(out of fifteen teaching days) It almost makes up for me making less than half the wage I did when I was on contract. Subs get paid so CRAPPY!
The upside of me subbing is the flexibility.I chose to take two days off in January to take Kayleigh to preschool. That's the ONLY upside for me, now that I am an experienced teacher who knows what she wants!
It's good for the experience, but I've been subbing nearly two years, and have had my own classroom for a semester, so I know that I don't need the experience. Can you tell I'm sick of not having a home and being the "less important" teacher?
I digress....I do use Todd's pictures in my resume too, though. Figure it makes it a little more creative and stands out a bit.
Glad to have him around. And he's a kickbutt babysitter, and lives three doors down. Cool, man!
