Hi,
I am a new user.I found this site when searching for IBS and liked it a lot and registered in it.I am having pain in my lower left abdomen since 1 year.The pain is on and off.most of the time the pain goes downwards.sometimes the pain is so severe that I feel pain in my left thigh.The pain becomes more if i haven't ate for 3/4 hours or if i have gas.I had done all the tests,but doctors couldn't find any problem.So they are saying it may be due to IBS.Initially I was having constipation.But now i don't have any problem in my bowel movement.i don't have any other problem,except that with all these started I lost interest in sex and having pain during intercourse.Just wanted to know are these symptoms of IBS or i should go for some other tests to find out the cause for the pain.
I would really appreciate for your reply.

Hi and welcome to the boards!

It is possible for them to be side effects from IBS. Here is a past post on that: web page

Just to be safe, you may want to talk to your doctor about it to make sure it isn't something else.
