My husband's daughter from a previous marriage is arriving today. She will not be staying with us, but with another family member. Last time we saw her was 7 years ago and it wasn't very positive...she was very hateful towards me and my husband. And all contact with her since has been hateful unless she wants something...then she can be as sweet as sugar. So needless to say, my husband doesn't trust her and her motives for being here. It's going to be very uncomfortable seeing her again. Any suggestions on how not to get stressed over this? She will be in the area for about a week although very little of that time will be spent with us. That bothers my husband, too. He feels that she's not coming to see him and that hurts.

sip on it all weekend. No, I'm just kidding! Sorry, I know this is not funny. I know it must hurt, especially for your husband. This is the same way I feel about one of my sister-in-laws. I am always walking on eggshells when she's here, and for some reason, I always do or say something stupid around her, and I feel so self-conscious. I'm praying you will have a reconcilation. You will be in my thoughts and prayers! Beaglelover
