I'm not the best in the kitchen. I'm wondering if anyone has any tips they'd like to share? I know some of you are EXCELLENT cooks and I'm sure you've got tons of tips...so I'm anxious to hear your replies! Thanks!!!

If you ever can make it to WI I have a Vietnamese friend who is an excellent cook!! She has taught me a few Vietnamese dishes, but her next task is to teach me how to cook fish. I'll let you know how that goes. The funny thing is she doesn't know how to bake. I've taught her how to bake cookies and even showed her how to make bread. She now makes bread everyday in her bread machine. I wish I have some tips for you, but I don't. I mostly cook from scratch now - so my new experience is learning how to put the right spices together when cooking. The site Mags sent you looks great.

They are all things I picked up from magazines, cooking shows, etc. I'm sure I know more, but sometimes I just don't think of them until I'm doing actually doing them. If I remember anymore or learn any new ones, I'll add to the post.
