well the guts came out because I went away on vacation for a week, and i'm not entirely sure when the mouse died.

As for the assoc. they are supposed to be taking care of it, but seem to have forgotten all about me and the problem. I emailed again today, and will be calling the condo manager tomorrow!

Mine has a 10,000 sq ft radius and it really does work. Get the kind that hooks into the ground wiring in addition to the ultrasonic noise. It sends out electronic pulses through all the wiring in the building, supposedly.

Hmmm...I would have to say I am better off with not that many. I know that when we were having problems at my parents I called the DNR and they were really great about giving me advice on extraction of them and how to relocate them. Only once did the DNR actually have to go out to their house and remove him. Come to find out he was a dangerous little one that they didn't recommend we handle.

House remodeling seems to attract them and mice. All those little places to sneak in. At least it hasn't gotten cold yet that they are coming in from the fields. The old foundations seem to be the ones they get into. Any chance a sealant foam in the cracks would work?

I never saw the mice after I put the D-con out thank goodness...I think I would puke! It's not a bad idea to replace the D-con as recommended until you know they are ALL gone. I don't remember smelling anything gross...

I have been there...I don't envy you at all.

well hopefully I won't smell anything gross either!

I have been searching on a DIY website however, and all the posts talk about mice dying in the walls and causing a huge stink! yucky!!!

I'm so not a fan of rodents right now.

Wish I can answer your question, but how awful to have mice or maybe rats.

Do you rent? If so you should have the landlord take care of the problem. The next step for you is to call in the MEN in the suites to spray those mice out of there.

I'm impressed, Ashley! I'm such a wimp. I'm not sure I could have cleaned that out!
