A good cry

I think I feel better today because I had a wonderful draining CRY last night. The kind where you just sob and bawl your eyes out! It felt so GOOD! I hadn't cried in months. (I cried so much that my eyes were still red and swollen when I got up this morning.)

Do you know how awful it is to go months without crying (when you feel sad and want to cry)? There's just something about a good cry that is cleansing and makes me feel better.

Ok, confession time....I cannot cry when I am on my medicine. I couldn't cry if my life depended on it. And that feels terrible. So I reduced the med several days ago, and VOILA, a good cry followed.

I feel so much better!!! I got a lot done today. I cleaned out my pantry, all of my kitchen cabinets, and my hall closets. I have been throwing things away and taking stuff to Goodwill. It feels so good to get rid of things.

Tomorrow I want to start organizing photos....years of photos.

Ok, so all that wasn't so good for my back. Where's the Advil? I need to start calming down so I can sleep.

Yes! I love a good cry, too! I had one last month when I was PMSing. Man, did it feel good!

Is it okay to reduce your meds? (Sorry; I don't mean to nag. I honestly don't know!)

I cried all morning. You're right--it does feel good to clean those sinus ducts. It rained all afternoon. That romantic poetic kind of rain where you wish you had boobs and were outside in a white t-shirt. Seriously, it was one of those raindancer afternoons. It feels good to release energy. Tears are like windex in that way.

Did you ever see "Les Miserables?" I love that song Eponine sings..."A Little Fall of Rain." It's true, it does make the flowers grow.

Kate, IBS-D.

Too funny. I'm not quite familiar with that kind!

Nah, it's probably not a good idea for me to reduce my med, but sometimes, you just gotta do what you gotta do to CRY!

My doctor would say I'm being "non compliant." Makes me sound like a huge rebel, huh?

Sometimes I just need a break from it. It's just temporary. I'll feel bad, chicken out, and I'll start it again.

I have to lay off the Diet Coke today. Without much med in my system, they make me feel weird!

I'm just kidding!

Actually, I live a very boring, safe life. My boys laugh at me because they say I'm afraid of everything!

So no, I don't usually live life on the edge, but for some reason, I've felt like pushing it lately.

Glad to hear you are feeling better today!

Both Will and I had a good cry last night too! We watch Million Dollar Baby and I'm not sure who was crying harder!
