I subscribe to the newsletter, but every time I access this website from my work computer, that little window opens up asking me to subscribe. This doesn't happen at home. How do I make it stop?
Thanks.

Do you have a pop-up blocker at home, but not at work?

Hmmmmmm, that could be it! I can't put in a popup blocker at work because one of the legal research websites basically requires popups so it can open related info, and also because only administrators can download stuff on these computers. I guess that could be it! Thanks.

My bet is there's a cookie installed on your desktop at home, but not one on yours at work.

Although this won't help your "admin can only download stuff" problem, you can download pop-up blockers and then specify which websites you'd like to accept pop-ups from. I have the Yahoo! one (which I love) and when I'm on a website, I can chose to 'accept pop-ups' from this website.
