AC question....

hey..

I am mechanically challanged... and my Air Conditioner has an area that says

vent control
and you can either pick open, closed or in between.. which one is right?!?! air seems to be coming out each way.

Depends on how much airflow you want... open will give alot of air shooting out, but hte air won't be any colder. closed, no air. in between, light gusts of air.

I am pretty sure. The family business is AC, but I haven't bothered to figure out how they work really. My only option on my window unit is 'hi ac' or 'low ac'. I can up or lower the temp though.

hey thanks for the suggestion.

I had no clue what it meant. Basically my AC sucks and its cold in my living room where it is.. but the air cant see to go through my probably 2 foot wide and long hallway into my bedroom. VERY ANNOYING.

if you read above about my fainting spell.. i'm really wishing right now how to figure this AC out.

oh my AC also has the option.. COOL or FAN and then hi or lo for both...

I'm guessing cool is better.. but what does the fan switch do
