Ahh, Rachel, you look so cute! How far along are you now? You look terrific! And that IS exciting when you feel the baby move---especially for the first time. Toward the end of my pregnancy, I would put a dinner plate on my tummy and the plate would move from side to side. That was really awesome to watch! Just wait until its head is down and it turns on your bladder. Ha!!!

Hey BL! Did you change your name?? You are Beaglelover right? Or am I wrong?
I'm 4 months along now. Oooh, how fun with the dinner plate... I might have to try that one!

I wish I had a tummy! I feel fat and gross, so it'd be nice to at least LOOK pregnant!
I am definately finding out the gender (assuming the baby lets me!) I am such a planner - and I see it as a surprise whether I find out at 18 weeks or at 40. And I don't want all green and yellow stuff! ![](/messageboards/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif)
I am feeling decent I guess. Nights are the worst for me still...from about 6:00 on I feel really crappy. I'm pretty good during the day, so that is great! The gallbladder/pancreas issue is still an issue - I have to have it checked throughout the pregnancy every 3 weeks. Kinda scary, but I try not to think about it. When I get that pain, I have to lay down and I'm pretty much out for the rest of the day - it's only happened twice so far, and hopefully won't happen again for awhile!!
Thanks for asking! I'll post pics as soon as I have a tummy!

Since I'm really from MN, I don't know much about Iowa. Where's Iowa City?
Never mind... I just looked it up. Yikes! You're clear on the other side of the state from me.

Rachel I love your pic! There is nothing like that little bump at first! It was when i finally felt pregnant and not just a little fat! i think I started wearing maternity shirts early just for that reason. Although by 9months I didn't want to look at my maternity clothes at all! The first time you feel the baby kick is wonderful also. mY hubby used to come home every night to talk to the baby just so he could feel him kick. My son loved the sound of my hubby's voice.

I have been here my entire life but still had to look up Cherokee! This side of the state is nice- large cities but nothing too huge and unmanageable! I live in the country but work in the city which is a nice mix for me.
