Abdominal wall injury.

I had a stupid accident at work last week (not paying attention) and confused the pain as being IBS. Finally saw the doctor Thursday and after running a bunch a blood work and stool sample all came back negative. The doc believes I injured my abdominal wall.

He prescribed pain killers, which flair up my IBS. The doc also has me on weight restrictions through Monday at work. I have to leave for work soon and deal with pain all day. Thank goodness I work at a hospital!!!

Anyone ever have this type of injury and how did you deal with it?

Hi Barbara,

Wow! That sounds very painful....I've never heard of an abdominal wall injury. You must have had some accident!
