Wedding dress shopping!

I am going wedding dress shopping on Saturday, my mother and sisters are coming up and we are checking out bridal shops and bridesmaids dresses for the girls. I have tried 2 dresses on already and would happily walk up the aisle in either one of them as they are really funky and comfy.
Very excited about this!
Then we have our engagement drinks in a pub in town on Saturday night..more fun, lots of friends so really looking forward to that too.

Our wedding is September 30th in my local church at home and this hotel
The dress thing is great fun, the ones I like are here I tried on two and they were really comfy and funky

Sinead - I remember shopping for my wedding dress back in 96. All the styles then were the gaudy beaded fluffy floofy garbs that looked great on everyone else.... but me. I'm 5 foot 2 and at the time weighed 100 pounds. I looked like a little pixie in a whale costume! I finally got my dress custom made - a very simple crepe sheath with chiffon over top. LOVED IT. It was so comfy. Anyway, I'm rambling. Enjoy your dress shopping. Here's hope you find "the one" this weekend!

have a ball and enjoy this.. its a once in a lifetime thing and you deserve it... sounds like you are looking in the right place to find the perfect dress for you if you've already found 2 that would work...

Hey sinead,
Ive just realised this is the first time in ages we've been online on the boards at the same time....first time since your america and my spain trip!! I bet you;re so excited about the wedding dress....I cant wait for that to be me one day!! Enjoy every minute of it!! Hey what you doing up so late anyway?? Dont you have to be up early for work tommorrow?? I am sooooo tired...I havent been getting much sleep lately...Im gona hit the pillow in a bit.....we'll have to have a proper chat again soon.....
