I have had ibs for about 10 years (thought it was just lactose int.) someone suggested acidophilus due to having bad bacteria in the intestines. has anyone tried this?

Linz is right..It can't hurt. I took it for about 6mths or so. I'm sure it helped to put the good bacteria back into my stomach, however, I didn't notice that it made my IBS any better or worse.
