Good luck Tommy!
We knew you were gonna get a job, but this is all going so quick, you MUST be a MVP! (sorry- couldn't resist the bad, corny reference )
I came back late last night from the mountains and was breezing through posts, and i saw your heading with 'Job Situation - Good news' and I jumped up and was like 'what?!' He JUST started looking!
Good for you Tommy, make it happen!

Great news Tommy. And good for you for deciding to go out and get the respect that you deserve! It's so easy to get comfortable and stay in a less than desired job because it's "easier" than looking, interviewing, learning a new job, working in a new environment, etc.

I hope you get what your looking for. As someone else said, anyone who gets you as an employee will be the lucky one!

If you need any reference, just give the "hiring squad" (wow 5 at one time!) the link to this website and we'll all tell them how wonderful you would be!

You know what Michele, I think the facial hair is gone for the time being even if I do secure another job. Everyone tells me I look about 5 years younger than I am without it. And since I have one year and 2 1/2 months until I am 30, I will take the younger look!

You're going to ge something as well. There's no doubt in my mind about it. Just remember to take your time researching job and what you want to do. Although money is important to me, I don't want to work for a jerk because have already done that twice before.

But, I think you will be just fine. I think your intelligence and your personality will get you what you're looking for.

Good for you!! It DOES make you look younger! I like you better without the face hair! Any plans for the big 30? I'll be celebrating the 5th anniversary of my 30th this year! For my 30th, we had a big bbq, had a band and partied like rock stars!!

Just thought of this.......................

..........if all else fails, I'll just wear short skirt to the interview!

Anyone that knows me would find that funny as in my 5 years of working here, I've only worn a skirt half a dozen times.

Tina, this is completely inappropriate BUT... a smart,overly-qualified, beautiful gal, with a good personality (this is YOU I am talking about) who wears a short skirt on an interview beats out a smart, overly-qualified, beautiful gal with a good personality, who wears a pants suit... Well at least in my book...
