I know I said that Christmas music bugs me, but I have two confessions to make:
I love "Little Drummer Boy", and
I could listen to Nat King Cole sing Christmas songs all day, and never get tired of it.
Unfortunately, that's never what's playing on the radio, in stores, or at any relatives' houses. LOL!

While, I'm a big fan of country music, so pardon the absurdity of my list !
Leroy the Redneck Reindeer Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer Grandpa Got Run Over by a John Deere
On a more serious note:
O' Come All Ye Faithful (I can sing this one in Latin too ) Silent Night Hark the Herald Angels Sing Greensleeves (Away in a Manger minus the words)

I LOVE to listen to Christmas music! We have radio stations that play it nonstop and I just can't get enough hehe I love Christmas time!
So I'd have to say some of my very favorite songs are:
Oh Holy Night Carol of the Bells All I Want for Xmas is You (I think Mariah Carey sings it and I'm not a big fan of hers, but I remember dancing to this song a few years back in Xmas shows we did with dance class and it's just so catchy! And I think it's sung in the movie Love Actually by that little girl at the end) moving on.... I love any Christmas song that Bing Crosby, Frank Sinatra, or Dean Martin sung - just can't hate the classics. and I know there's a million more but I can't think of them.
Thanks Sinead! This is fun and I was hoping someone would bring this up!

I'd have to say Silent Night is my favorite Christmas song. It's so calming and comforting, and when it's sung in parts the harmonies are gorgeous.
My favorite Christmas CD is anything by Manheim Steamroller. They're a tradition in my family and their music always puts me in the Christmas spirit. Plus they're so lively and upbeat!

Oh this is tough...there are so many!
Santa Baby All I want for Christmas is you. I like Miriah Carey singing Christmas songs too (even though I'm not that fond of her either). Debbie Gibson(member her?)she sings a good christmas tune too.
and the good ol classics: Rudolph, Frosty, Silent Night!

Augie, it's on his Live at the Greek CD/DVD. I don't own that, so I just downloaded the mp3!
I've decided that I'm going to marry Josh Grobin someday. He just doesn't know it yet.

I LOVE ''all I want for xmas is you'' too....thats such a cheery one it always makes me feel cosy and happy! The little girl in Love actually does sing that at the end...isnt that a great film!!...its great knowing you've all seen it over in the states...cos all the actors in it are very famous over here and theres always such a hype when one of our films has made it big in America!
I also love anything from Home alone one and two...cos I used to watch those films over and over again when I was a kid and all of the songs from it bring back happy childhood memories!!
My grandad would also kill me if I didnt mention Bing crosby and the classics!!
Also ''we wish you a merry christmas'' always reminds me of mince pies...which I love! Im thinking of making some with one of the safe pastry crust recipes Ive seen on here....though the raisins will probably still bother me...well its christmas and I dont care!!

Ooh - I've been listening to these since before Thanksgiving! I even made a word doc with 52 carols and printed it out to sing!
My favorite is Carol of the Bells, especially the version by the Trans Siberian Orchestra!
Also love: What Child is This? O Little Town of Bethlehem Winter Wonderland (my mom and I sing this ALL the time!)

Trans-Siberian Orchestra and Mannheim Steamroller's Christmas stuff is the Christmas music of choice in our apartment (granted 3 of us practice Wicca and the 4th is pretty much areligious), but we like decorating and buying presents anyway!

On the must-hear list: Nat Cole singing "The C'mas Song" Bing singing "White Christmas" Bing & the Andrews Sisters singing "Jingle Bells" Judy Garland singing "Have Yourself" Mannheim Steamroller's "Stille Nacht"- something about that toy piano at the end just puts me away. John & Yoko singing "Merry C'mas (War is Over)" The entire "Charlie Brown C'mas" soundtrack. The Drifters singing "White Christmas" Springsteen singing "Merry Christmas Baby" Harry Connick Jr singing "Sleigh Ride" Oh! The list goes on and on.
On the must-steer-clear-at-all-costs list: The barking dogs Grandma Got Run Over By...
Unusual things that I can recommend: Oscar Peterson Christmas (if you like C'mas jazz) Cyrus Chestnut's "A Charlie Brown C'mas" (a contemporary jazz take on the CB music)

I'm a little old school, so one of my favourite traditional Christmas songs is the gregorianesque O Come, O Come Emmanuel -- although I guess technically it's actually an Advent song?
That being said, without a doubt my absolute favorite rendition of any Christmas song ever is Gabriel's Message by Sting. Although I've known it since I was a kid, it still blows my mind every time I listen to it.

Christmas Shoes (it's by a Country singer, though I can't remember which one). Its about this little boy who wants to buy his Mom (who's dying and not expected to live through the night) a pair of shoes so she'll look pretty when she meets Jesus but he doesn't have enough money. It makes me cry every time I hear it, but it reminds me the real point of Christmas is not how many presents you get, but showing your family how much you love them.
