I am a complete and total secondhand-shop junkie. The big ones, like Goodwill and Salvation Army, are ok, but I really like the little, individually-owned ones... run by churches, food kitchens, other charitable organizations... they have some of the BEST stuff. I don't think I've bought clothes new in years.

Oooh, hard one!
I love bookstores, especially if they have couches and a coffe bar!
I'm nuts about homewares stores atm. Cushions, picture frames, kitchen stuff, candles...anything for my little house!
Taking my dog into the pet store is also fun!
Teddy Bear shops! I'm a sucker for soft toys . And chocolate shops.
Can you tell I like shopping!?!

That IS a hard one... Um, I like shopping for clothes.. I like charity shops as it's obviously less expensive and it's nice to give to charity. I like Next a lot, 'cause they make pants that are short enough for my duck legs! I like a store here called Bravissimo 'cause it makes bras for big boobs and I got a lotta boob... Oooh! I know! I absolutely adore drug stores.. I know that's kinda lame.. but I can go into a London Drugs at home to buy cough drops and come out with $50 worth of stuff I don't need but I love it.. yep, I like drug stores.. And I LOVE little animals but I cannot stand pet stores! I used to like them but now when I go in and see puppies in cages it makes my heart break and a few months ago when I was in a pretty rotten state already we went in one and I just about started crying when there was a little puppy scratching at the cage and looking so hopeful... If I'd had any money, I'd have probably taken them all home that day and my boyfriend would have killed me!! And when I went in once there were all these massive spiders in cages and now I am scared every time I pass one that there'll be an escaped spider or something... Why would anyone want a spider as a pet??? *shudders* That's my one really irrational fear, but... blech! Okay, I'm done. --Steph

So "to shop at" implies actually purchasing things. So that rules out Barnes and Noble, at which I like to hang out, read their magazines and books for free, and occasionally buy some coffee.
So my favorite store to actually BUY things at is probably our grocery store. We shop mostly at Central Market, which is an awesome grocery store with almost all the major Vegetarian food substitute brands, superb produce, and like, an aisle of salsa. We come out of there with all kinds of interesting and yummy things.

I'm all about the bookshops, especially used bookstores, because they're cheaper and just seem to have more character in general.
Also love electronics stores (especially ones with DVDs, I'm a movie freak too!)

Shopping.....Love shopping! Where should I start? Walmart of course for "stuff". Make-up, lotions, toilet paper, candy, gatorade, film and more and more and more. Shoes My weakness.. (I have 72 pairs of them )I buy from any shoe store, obviously! Clothes: We have a place here in the east called Kohl's. Great store. Old Navy, one of my favorites for my boys and I. Macy's, Ross, TJ MAX and ANY outlet malls. We have a lot around here. I too, Casey, can find awesome things at thrift stores. I find that the "rich" people buy too much, never wear the stuff and send it to Goodwill or wherever. With tags still on! It's hard for me to find clothes being a size 0 to 1 and I find that I can find these sizes at thrift stores in great condition and Name Brands! Oh and I love going shopping at Christmas time for Christmas stuff to decorate the house. It's when my house is decorated at it's best. I HATE taking it down after New Year's. I wish I could have it up all year round!

Target, TJMaxx, Marshall's---and my all-time favorite, Goodwill. We had lot of wealthy people in our area, and you wouldn't believe the clothes I've bought at Goodwill for $3.95. I could never afford to pay retail for these clothes!
They have great furniture too! I bought a beautiful solid walnut bedside table for my guest room for $9. It looks just like the one in the Restoration Hardware catalog. I just bought a new silver knob for it---and it looks tres chic!
I think I'm going there tomorrow!

Okay, maybe I'm not normal, but I HATE to shop. Sure, every once and a while I like to go into craft or antique shops in small towns, but generally shopping is my least favorite thing to do. I especially hate shopping for clothes, I have the worst fashion sense in the world so at age 18 (almost 19) my mom still has to help me pick out my clothes.

I too would definitely have to say Target. I go there even if I don't need anything--but I definitely find stuff by the time I leave! Unless I'm really on a mission, I don't get a cart, and when my arms are too full to hold anything else then I know it's time to go! I could spend hours on end in a bookstore though just sitting and looking through books. I love it cause I feel great when I've left and didn't have to buy a thing!
