Now that they're here I'm feeling quite enthusiastic about them. So enthusiastic that I actually went to the gym today!

Yes, I love them. I stayed up so late last night. I watched the speed skating and ski jumping.

Yes, I've always loved them! Especially figure skating. Staying up late right now to watch!

Forgive the whine but I've just gotten back from downtown and it was dreadfully crowded. I've come to the conclusion the the olympics are best experienced via the TV in the company of friends not 10,000's Vancouver residents and tourists. Also newsflash: crowds make me tetchy.
On the upside the UK got a gold in the skeleton and Canada is up to three golds! So both my native and adopted country are doing well.

I have always had trouble with crowds. Just too much of an overload for me. And like you, I enjoy the Olympics on television.
