I have been managing tummy issues pretty well except for gas. Always deal with the gas. But my question revolves around fitness. I am becoming more active, exercising every night....however, my "tender" place sometimes feel uncomfortable...the famous "lower left, near the navel." It just feels strained. I work out and it just feels like the muscles from my belly button all the way around to my lower back are just "bleh" and achy. I wonder if it's from all the years I've had trouble. Am I just over sensitive? Normal bowels...normal blood tests...not bad doctor's visits. Just gassy and my weird navel/belly issue which I am wondering if it's all in MY HEAD?!?! Any thoughts on this???? I have no other health problems. What the heck??? (oh, and it feels good to massage my belly, side, and back...)

No, you are not crazy. You can try a couple of things, heating pad on your tummy or your back. For whatever reason, I find putting heat on my back when my descending (lower left side) is acting up, putting heat on my back works the best.
Actually, I like the moist heat packs even better than an actual heating pad. These are filled with barley and/or rice and can be heated in the microwave.
I hope you feel better soon!

I sometimes get these pains too when working out. I haven't found a way to resolve it-I just kind of manage it as it doesn't happen very often.
