Hi, I'm curious if you have tried eating other types of nuts. I absolutely love cashews but it results in a terrible stomach ache everytime I eat them. Are there more tollerable nuts out there that I should be trying?
Thanks

The only super-tolerable nuts are roasted chestnuts which are a good SF source and have almost no fat. Christmas time is a perfect time for trying these out.
I eat any type of nuts, but started out with very small amounts. I used to eat only 4-5 almonds a day, spread out and with meals. I slowly worked my way up to see what I could handle. Maybe you should try this? Also chew them really really well. It could be that either you had too much or didn't chew them enough.

Thanks so much. And I'm willing to bet that it's just because when I eat one or two, I can't stop. I end up eating about 20. It might be just a better idea to not eat them at all. I will try the chestnuts. Maybe I'll roast them on an open fire first Happy Holidays!
