good day - work was crazy busy (in a good way), so i didn't have time to obsess about food.

bagel

instant oatmeal (2 packets)

2 low-fat graham crackers
apple sauce w/ raspberries

fake bologna on white bread w/ reduced fat mayo

and then, since my calories were so low for the day, and i'd just worked twelve hours:
cocoa crispies & chocolate chips (melted - so good, verging on gross )

okay, not so much with the fruits/veggies today. not great. alas.

I'm back. I put back on ALL of the four pounds I lost, and another two to give them company so I am feeling pretty horrible, but it has inspired me to get back and report and stop snacking so much (or if I do on healthy food)

Breakfast: 1 slice banana bread
Morning Break: slice of brown bread with scraping of marmalade, a pear
Lunch: Tuna, coleslaw and tomato sandwich on brown bread, fruit salad
Snack: Luna Bar
Dinner: Much too big portion of brown rice with Honey Mustard Chicken some vegetables and salad with balsamic dressing
Snack: sliver of banana bread

Exercise: powerwalked home from work- 40 mins

Sums: Just within my 500 to weight loss limit. I feel good though as when I snacked I had fruit as opposed to the processed gunk that I normally eat, which while it raised the calories did me more nutritional. I overdid it on the rice portion but all in all a pretty good day. Aiming to eat just as well tomorrow but to get some more exercise if I can (not sure if I will as going to a friend's house for dinner so not much time)

Help keep me motivated. That scales needs to start dropping fast!!

Okay, I'm finally over my bizarre need to eat cheese. It is too darn painful!!! I cannot take the pain--lactaid pills don't work! Plus, I'm convinced it's giving me nightmares.
I'm not sure if any of you understand the need to drift & do something that you know will cause harm for some inexplicable reason.

So, here's what I more or less consumed & while still not completely in accord with Heather's diet (indeed, her guidance is better than smart!), kind of half my own thing.

chicken breast

field greens
Tuscan Italian dressing
japanese eggplant & zucchini (grilled)

spinach/egg white frittata
fresh chives & basil

Red Leaf Lettuce salad
Raspberry vinaigrette

Cauliflower "faux-taters"
& portabella mushroom crumbles

UFO sugarless gum
2 UFO skim (lacteezed) lattes

P.S. I'm still NOT SMOKING! Yippee.

Kate, IBS-D.

i've said it before, but all the freaking time.

but hey, you're not smoking. that's one self-hurting behavior you're not going back to, so be proud of that!

Shell, your new picture is absolutely beautiful!

Haven't been reporting in mostly because of stress from school and work, and a couple of other crappy things (my car broke down, and i lost my wallet). Plus, in the midst of all this, I haven't been exactly following IBS guidelines...

But here's how yesterday went:

*soy coffee, banana

*veggie burger sandwich, carrot sticks and hummus

*small apple, handful of mixed nuts

*baked sweet potato and salad, plus four Newman O's

*soymilk and rice cake

I had a long day, so even though this looks like a lot, I think it's about right, calorie wise...I didn't get to bed until about 2:00, and by that time, I needed a little something to settle my tummy.

I went to dance for an hour and a half too, which was awesome. Today will be stressful, as I have to study for midterms, write a paper, pick up my car from the body shop, and visit the bank to try to get a new credit card. Fun stuff!

Hope you all have a great day!
