the day off on the 15th was good - in the end it was probably a few hundred calories more than i would normally eat, and in the long run, what's that? probably more of a difference in fat content, which i felt the effects of, ibs-wise, but nothing even close to an attack. i really think that days off are the way for me to go - afterwards i feel like i've been 'reset.'
luna bar
2 egg whites (hardboiled) mini bagel cookie
very small sweet potato 1 werther's
avocado & cucumber roll (w/ ginger) 1/2 chocolate chip oat bar (very low fat, 150 calories for the whole thing) fat free soy milk
1/2 c.c. oat bar fat free soy milk
100 calorie pack cookies (waiting for dinner to be ready) cheeseless roasted veggie pizza small apple
chocolate soy pudding lite cool whip
felt too full at the end of the night - wish i'd waited and not had the cookies, and i think i would have been fine without the pudding, or at least without the cool whip. but still an alright day.

here goes my BAD FOOD day.
--1 c. applesauce
--brussels sprouts (BAD IDEA. Never ever ever again. Gave me HUGE D attack. They were fine last time, but just the smell triggered something.)
--a bowl of Cheerios
--Mega MIXED mushrooms, some spinach puree (Khyricat's mushroom stuffing)--2 doses
--some zucchini and eggplant (BAD idea. Barf city)
--a few hours later, another bowl of Cheerios (I guess I needed some cheering up)
--and to TOP IT ALL OFF--a MONSTEROUS HUNK OF DARK CHOCOLATE!!! (another really bad idea--sent me straight to the chamber pot)
So, you can all see that I had a really BAD DAY. And well...we all do. But I am frustrated. I just want to throw out most of the food in my fridge and do a modified BTC diet because I'm having way too many D attacks, lately.
I bounce back fast...but/butt...it's tiresome. I just feel horrible wasting things. And I don't have any room in my freezer. So...now I must challenge myself to listen more effectively.
Kate, IBS-D.

Kate, to me, it looks like you had a "mostly good" food day! You made good choices, incorporated a good variety of food, and, technically, if you didn't have IBS, the dark chocolate - with all those antioxidants and flavinoids - would be considered healthy.
Wait until you see what I ate for lunch today (yesterday as I'm writing this)!
