B: the usual snacks: the usual L: leftover potatoes and a little cauliflower- not much snacks: another banana, apple w/o peel, few chips, pickles, zucchini bread D: small bowl cream of asparagus and Italian peasant bread which is pretty IF but I do fine with it De: too much soy delicious since DH made me mad. Ex: treadmilled 45 min. I don't know why I just didn't do an easy walk yesterday when my back hurt. Oh well I learned to do that and will do so next time. Today I was fine. Also situps and Roman chair. Other: very slightly bloated It is fall and I am tired and hungry all the time!
-------------------- IBS-A for 20 years with terrible bloating and gas. On the diet since April 2004. Remember this from Heather's information pages:
"You absolutely must eat insoluble fiber foods, and as much as safely possible, but within the IBS dietary guidelines. Treat insoluble fiber foods with suitable caution, and you'll be able to enjoy a wide variety of them, in very healthy quantities, without problem." Please eat IF foods!

Proteins:
--1 c. egg whites --1/2 c. shrimp --1/2 c. shrimp
Raw:
--spring mix --iceburg lettuce
Cooked:
--button mushrooms --yellow onions (about 1 c.) --green onions (about 2 c.) --10 cloves garlic --spinach/dill puree --'faux-tatoes' (cauliflower puree)
I've discovered that I REALLY LOVE SHRIMP! Thus far, my top proteins are: egg whites, shrimp, and tuna. The trick is finding something I like and that 'agrees' with me or rather, clicks.
I think my new favourite vegetable is the onion.
Met my protein goals. Feel awesome.
Kate.
