Achoo! I'm feverish and goo is just dripping out of me. So, I just holed up with magazines, mostly.
In typical hobbit habbit, random order, etc.
--1 L Gatorade --2 Kool Aid Sport Pouches --1 L Organic No-Chicken Stock --3 Jolly Ranchers --LOTS OF HERBAL TEA with honey!!! Definitely a throat soother. Discovered a new favourite: Celestial Seasonings TROPIC OF STRAWBERRY. I highly recommend it! --2 c. blueberries --31 rainer cherries (NO SEDATIVES TONIGHT!!!)(May have to switch to cherry flavoured things, i.e. freezies, lollipops, Jolly Ranchers, Kool Aid Sport Pouches in the future.) --spinach --2 c. carrots --zucchini
Kate. P.S. What do you do if you start craving things like Brussels sprouts and Cauliflower? Must just be this flu bug. But honestly, I really miss them, sometimes...cucumbers, too.

Mmm. Cherries sound good right now, but it's better for me to stay away.
Could you get away with eating 1/2 or one small brussel sprout? Or one small cauliflower floret? This is what I do sometimes--sort of like the small slice of lemon or lime. Could you treat these cravings as some folks treat candy bar cravings (go for the mini or fun-size candy rather than the full-size candy bar)?

I've got to take a break from the cherries.
Good point re: my bizarre cravings. I think I'll seriously try it/consider it...minimal servings...one sprout at a time or 2 florettes. It's weird that you mention the comparison to candy because I crave these weird things the way some might crave Cheerios or popcorn.
I notice that you seem to be adding bits and bites of broccoli. How's that going? I think I might try a "micro-mini size" serving, soon. I guess you could compare it to people who crave stinky cheese--I crave a bite or two of a stinky veggie or fruit. I think, though, in this case, for me a bite or two of stinky veggie is a lot safer than stinky cheese.
Welcome back!!! Congratulations on adding exercise without much though to your day. Keep being/thinking strong.
Kate.
