And even though I only did the running portion (2 2 mile runs) it was the hardest thing I've ever done!! I am NOT an outside runner (this was my first run outside this year!) and it was about 93 degrees and sunny. So considering all that, we did pretty good. My husband did the biking, he's never done anything like it and only has a mountain bike and I was so proud of him. I basically cornered him Thursday telling him we were doing this and he happily agreed. So now we are tired, sweaty and hungry!! We're going to celebrate with breakfast at a local restaurant.
We'll get our offical time tomorrow. We are like the amateurs of the amateurs so it won't be great, but it was still a great accomplishment for us.

You can do more than I! It's a shame because I used to run 10 miles a day at least running cross country! I'm sure you would have beaten me if I would have done it! Good for you for accomplishing this! I hope your proud of yourself!
And I can vouch for the heat here in South Suburbs of Illinois...it's been horrid.
I'm so proud of you and hubby...what a good sport. Hope you had a good (but IBS safe) breakfast as a treat.

I have asthma too, although it's calmed down some as I got older, AND as I get better in shape. Luckily the race went past my house so I figured in an emergency I could run in and grab my inhaler!!
