Okay, too tired to do this properly but at least it's something right?
Total cals: 1819 Target: 2214
So good. Weird, I felt like I'd eaten loads when I'd only got to 1500 cals! Tho there was a UFO I had to do a fitday guess on.

a "UFO" is an Unidentified Food Object - basically something that is not IBS-safe. Most people post it as a UFO so that they don't have to explain to newbies that they shouldn't eat it.
And she uses www.FitDay.com to calculate her calories. Evidently, the food object she ate wasn't in the FitDay database, so she had to guess on what calories it would equal.
HTH!

all those years it wasn't IBS - it was celiac!

Hey guys! Did ok eating wise today. Not perfect, but not terrible. Didn't keep track of points though... I'll be more careful to do so today. I seem to have a harder time being good and watching on the weekends than during the week.

Yeah, I got a lemon cookie from the deli section of the HFS and so had to log it as the nearest thing the Fitday database had.
Why not use fitday to work out your cals? It's soooo useful!

After much deliberation, I have decided to ease up on some of my rules re: eating only organic food. I'm going to give it a trial run. It was an important factor initially, for me, to do so. I think my brain also needed some "convincing" that safe food was indeed "safe." Perhaps, there is a psycho-hypnotic factor involved re: the organic issue and me? With the money I save, I can assist so many unfortunate individuals. Sometimes, I feel like such a snob re: this issue. I do have a few exceptions, though and some things are only available organically for me.
--1 c. puffed rice --1 c. new potatoes --puree of green beans and spinach, herbs, etc. --1 c. rice pasta --puree of asparagus and spinach, herbs, etc. --salad of roasted mushrooms and mesculn
Note that I divide my meals into demi-meals, or mini meals due to the fact that eating more than a half a cup or so of rice, potatoe, etc. at one time makes me feel too full and bloated. I am not used to eating so much.
No more lettuce/raw leafies for quite awhile is my decision. It's just too stimulating. Good-bye salad. Cooked greens, I'm fine with but the raw is too draining and triggering, so adieu. I choose to live without discomfort and D/loose bowels and excessive bathroom trips. I've got enough stress! Salad is a memory from now on, for me. I am listening to body and responding appropriately.

2220...I don't think that's good(I know RDA is 2200), but I don't know what I should target. Is 1700 a good target?
