On the list of safe foods, it just says pasta and noodles. I would normally assume spaghetti is fine. Im just worried -that's what my family is having tomorrow and I don't want an attack before I go out anywhere. Without the sauce, I would assume. I apologize if I post too many stupid questions. Im just so new to all of this. ..But Im also eager to eliminate these symptoms.

Lol. It's not a stupid question, don't worry. I ate spag. 2nite a mix of whole wheat and regular w/ marinara sauce and I was fine. But everyone's different, so if ur worried maybe skip the sacue or have very little. I think that I read cranberry was the safest of all juices in the IBS cook book. I know I drink it and I'm fine. Maybe try it a couple days and see how u feel. Well, hope this helped!

I had a mix of whole wheat spag. w/ regular spag. and marinara sauce. Also, when I drink my juice i usually do 1/2 cup juice and fill the rest w/water.

You've had your question answered well already - both the foods you mentioned are safe for most people in moderation, but tolerances vary. However if you are just starting out the diet I'd recommend cutting them out for a while.
Just a note though - this really isn't the forum for questions about food and diet. Those questions should be posted on the "IBS Diet board." Confusing isn't it? No worries! Oh yeah, and there are NO stupid questions!

...as it's SF. Wholewheat pasta (NB. all normal pasta is made from wheat) is relatively high in IF.
