Everythings gone dolally atm and my reporting is outta the window. I'm still THINKING about it tho...promise.
My docs have me trying a higher dose of Elavil to see if it can help my sleep and it seems to be having the wrong effect! I'm an insomniac! It doesn't help that I've had to stop my Valerian or I wouldn't notice the Elavil. So anyway, I'm getting no where near enough sleep, am totally fogged and forgetting EVERYTHING!
Tonight I was a bad girl...I ate an extra tortilla (filled) at dinner, which was TOTALLY over the top and am now painfully bloated as a result. Sigh...
Still no sugar tho! Well except for my tiny square of Green & Blacks chocolate which I refuse to give up. But I didn't even have any this morning when Archie woke me up after 4 1/2 hours sleep...just honey. I'm doing better at this!
I'll be good next week.

good work re sugar Linz.
I am living on it (and fat) at the moment.
Another naughty day for me..
Breakfast: porridge with pineapple and grapes
Lunch: Tuna, coleslaw tomato sandwich on brown bread. BUT banoffi pie was in the canteen for dessert and I have been craving it so I had a slice...I scraped the cream off but still...
Snack: Luna Bar (I still have a stash from my US trip!)
Dinner: Went out with the girls- had a selection of Italian breads with dips on them for starters and some bruschetta, then a tiny portion of pasta with tomato sauce. And then dessert (a strawberry tart)
I am DEFINITELY over budget and didn't get any exercise so I won't count today as I have no idea how to calculate a lot of the stuff I ate.
At this rate, since the week has been so bad foodwise for me I am aiming for no gain on Monday, as opposed to a loss. Am going home to my parents place for the weekend so I probably won't report again til Sunday. I will be good over the weekend though (apart from tomorrow night) and will make sure to get some good sea air into me!
Keep on track. The shame of reporting in is having an effect on me. I have only three more pounds to lose and four weeks to do it...it can be done. PLEASE SCOLD ME FOR MY BADNESS! It helps honest!

It's okay, sweetheart. I know you want to lose, but 3 pounds is NOTHING compared to what I'm facing. Consider today a ripple in the tide and keep right on a going. Enjoy the weekend with your parents. Love, Alicia.

I am sorry all,
I do not feel like posting tonight. This ends the second week since I put my bunny to sleep. I sold his cage and shipped it off today. Now there is a big bare spot on the floor where the cage was. My DH is out of state looking for work. California sounds promising, but we may have to move again. I have finally gotten my crohns stablized, I do not need any more trials.

B: 3 oatmeal and raisins 520 2 bananas, luna and PB&J while working 660 I realize that I forgot to add the calories of the gatorade I had the other day. So today I had half a bottle- 100 early dinner: rest of spaghetti- 225 rest of PB noodles for second dinner- 275 bowl of HNC- 150 liquid- pretty good exercise- worked only 3 hours 45min but I ran up and down slopes. Then 1 set weights and ball work after work and mega fast 2 hours house cleaning. cals: 1930. I wish it could be a little lower since it is 14 days until my trip! And I wanted to lose 3.5 more pounds. Oh well who knows what it will be on Sunday.

"You absolutely must eat insoluble fiber foods, and as much as safely possible, but within the IBS dietary guidelines. Treat insoluble fiber foods with suitable caution, and you'll be able to enjoy a wide variety of them, in very healthy quantities, without problem." Please eat IF foods!

Wow, not as many reporting today. Where is everybody???
Weigh-in Report: I did my weigh in a day late this week, but I am down another 1/2 LB to 136 even! YAY!! This is despite all these Easter treats I keep eating
Thursday: Breakfast - same oatmeal/OJ combo! (253) Sanck - vanilla yogurt (did not go over so well - prob should stick w/soy yogurt or none at all) and UFO beverage (294) lunch - PB&J on WW (410) Snack - baby carrots (46) Pre-dinner - 3 Easter UFOs (123) Dinner - Turkey breast slice, boiled red skin potatoes, applesauce, UFO (305) Dessert - one chocolate covered Oreo (only ONE, though!!), jelly bellys (132) Snack - dry frosted mini wheats (200)
Excercise - 20 min on elliptical, 10 min walking (burned ~300 cals)
So I think my metabolism is starting to speed up since I started eating lots of small meals. I was STARVING yesterday before dinner (hence the UFO treats) and around 9PM (hence the mini wheats). My total food calories still weren't astronomically high, though - approx. 1900. Tonight I am going out for dinner and drinks so I expect that will send me WAY over my normal amount but it will be fun and it's just one night so who cares!

Hey guys. Still working on it, I tried eating even more often today, felt like I was eating all day, a very non-productive sort of feeling. But I'm trying.
8pm:
Half a bowl of oatmeal squares
8:45:
Other half the bowl
10:00:
Handful of Jelly beans
12:05:
Applesauce with Banana cut up in it
3:00:
Baggie of Pretzels
4:30:
Deviled Eggs and Jelly Beans (still in the Easter spirit, hehe)
5:15:
Turkey wrapped in tortilla with honey mustard
6:30:
Another baggie of pretzel sticks
8:30
My coffee place will make things with soy milk!
I got a steamer, just soy milk and the flavor syrup.
I haven't felt so indulgent in such a long time!
9:30
Piece of broken Easter chocolate
Incredibly, despite eating *all day* that still comes out to be just at 1,000 calories.
Also went to another doctor, he confirmed IBS, sent me on to another specialist. He was amazed that I was still "gaining weight". Didn't have the heart to tell him that the nurse had weighed me holding my purse, water bottle, and textbook. What's the point in even weighing then? And both times, I had been wearing a big coat and heavy boats. Who knows what I weigh under all that, lol.
A little low on the water today-- 106 oz .
I'll chalk it up to all that time waiting in the exam room at the docs with no way to fill up my bottle.
And Casey --Thanks so much for all your advice, and understanding. I'll look into those shakes this weekend. And yes, thanks *goodness* for potatos. They are just about the perfect food right now. Well, all except for the fact that you can't grab one on the way out the door and just stick it in your purse, lol! My sister makes wonderful mashed potatoes, and she's made them with soy milk for me, yum!
Linz --I have a condition known as dystonia. It's a neurological condition that causes muscle spasms and contractions. Several limbs are permenantly spasming and contracted. Talk about wearing you out! Whew! I've also been having some abdominal spasms lately, which I'm not sure if they are related to IBS, dystonia, or both. I also have a bit of an unusual, "unspecified" immune disorder, also somehow relating to the dystonia. If I get sick (even just a touch of a bug or something) it either sticks around forever a very long time (months!) or my dystonia spreads, so far, permenantly. It's been a very frustrating situation, because I don't want my life to become like "Boy in the Plastic Bubble". None of my *many* doctors have ever mentioned Fibro, but I've read about it from time to time. I don't think I have it, but I certainly empathise and feel generally validated by reading Fibro support boards and such. The unending indescribable fatigue (even when I feel "good") and frustration with trying to live life and do what you want, without the consequences. Or accepting that sometimes you just simple can't. It's a hard thing to balance, I think, whatever the cause.
