Hi everyone I want to join weight watchers with a friend. I could really afford to lose 10 pounds. My question is how does this work with the high carb(bread, pasta...)that I have been relying on to keep me stable??? Most of my safe foods seem to be high points. If anyone out there is doing weight watchers and finding success please let me know your secrets. thanks

Cut the sugary stuff out and watch your portion sizes is my best advice. You can stil have stuff like free (zero point) veggie soup...just have a slice of bread to start or some crackers.

Yep- what Linz said. I did Weight Watchers, I just ate a LOT of cooked veggies. Smoothies are generally ok for IBS'ers and not too high in points either.

thanks for the input girls. I did very well on this a while back but that was before IBS struck. I'm going to give it a go.

WW has their own bread line. 2 slices = 1 point. I make fat free turkey sandwiches with it, with ff mayo, mustard and lettuce. They are my staple - only 3 points. I eat a lot of cooked veggies - but watch out for corn and peas, they have a higher point value.
