Hi all- I just wanted to let you know something I just found out about fitday--you need to put in however many hours of sleep you get a night in your activities or it doesn't calculate any sleep time, so it will overestimate your calories unless you do that. Kind of an annoying feature!

Fitday already assumes you're sleeping. Like for me, it says I burn about 600 calories on lifestyle - if you added it all up that would be (very roughly) about 8 hours sleeping, 8 hours sitting around, 8 hours gentle walking, etc.
If you put sleeping in there, it's going to think you're sleeping during your assumed waking hours - so something like 16 hours a day. This will make it severely UNDERESTIMATE your calories burnt each day. Same goes for any activity you might put in that burns 0 calories.

Thanks--that's good to know. I was misinformed, thanks for the correction!
