Hey.. I have a question.. I did my BMR then subtracted 500 then added what I burned? So thats not right. you subtract what you burn, as well as, 500 of your food calories?

Oh, if your BMR (included LESS 500) and then less 500 for what you burned then YES, that was right!!

ok yay! I was getting scared that all my good work all week wasn't paying off.
yeah my BMR is 2030
I subracted 500 to equal 1530
Then I added 550 to my calorie totals cause I exercised and burned 550. I still ate less than that total though, so does that sound right? But to lose a pound a week I needed to eat 500 calories less then 2030, but can eat more if I exercise?

BMR 2030 - 500 (to lose one pound a week)+ exercise = food budget
P.S. just remember that once you DO lose that pound, your starting BMR will also go down, not by much... so just remember to re-calculate when you lose!!
