Hi and welcome to the board! I don't eat pasta a lot as I find it a bit bloating, but I do a tuna sauce with rice milk thickened with cornflour (cornstarch US), lots of salt and pepper and you could add soy cheese. Also roasted root veggies, either with a bit of olive oil or puree them for a thick sauce. How about cold as a salad with fat free vinagrette dressing? There's bound to be more on the Recipe Board, try searching on it with no time restrictions

Hey! Try doing a search of the Recipe Exchange for "pasta", with "all posts" for date range. I just tried & there's lots. Two I like that I can think of off the top of my head are non-dairy alfredo and linguine with salmon & garlic. They have lots more.
Good luck!

Homemade or store bought? Check the fat content and the ingrediants.

It all sounds okay. The only thing that concerns me is how much of the oils are in there. What is the fat info under the nutrition info? Here's two links to help you figure it out, if you need them. web page web page

if you want a red sauce.. try a little mix:
1 can crushed tomatoes, add a little virgin olive oil, and some suger to take the acidity out..
I made this the other night and added in some finely chopped chicken (so it's almost like ground beef), mushrooms, onion and green pepper.
add in a couple of fresh garlic cloves, with some basil spice and baby you got a nice little sauce ...
if you really can't handle the tomatoes .. try it with just the oil part..
I forgot i also added a teaspoon of balsalmic vinigar which made it even better...

Thanks Mags... I tried it for the first time tonight so i'll let you know if it bothers me. It tasted ok, but not nearly as good as a nice marinara sauce
