I am new to ibs and was wonering about using a vitamix for juices, shakes, soups, ect. There are just a few, very tiny, particles left when your done. Would this work ok, even with berries or should I stay away from it?

I have one, and in fact am on my second one after 8 years. I've always joked that I could make ROCK smoothies if I wanted to. I LOVE it for smoothies and soups, etc. I can put the smallest of seed items in it like flax seed and you do not have particles once incorporated into the liquid. Now if one can fork out the $500 for one that's fine, but many can't. A little tip here........if you do buy one, only buy direct from the manufacture because they have started to change the number of years on the warranter depending on where you buy it. From the company it's 7 years.........on ANYTHING. (If you bought it in Costco for instance, the warantee is only something like 2-3 years.) I did a stupid thing about 4 years after I owned mine, and told them so...No problem, they still replaced the part and told me how to avoid the problem again. I love working with that company......customer support is awesome. (and no I don't sell them... ) Kandee
