IBS C question

I was wondering exactly what everyone meant when they say they are IBS C? Now I know that it means constipation is the main problem but I was wondering if it meant that you dont have a BM everyday or go several days without one....and so on. Or does it just mean that you dont get D and you have bloating and pain instead??

IBS C is people that have constipation....IBS D is those that have diarreha. Then there is IBS A where you alternate. I know with constipation you don't go everyday....its usually every few days...for some of us its once a week

C can be in various forms. When you go to the doc and say you are C a good doc will ask you to verify what you mean since it can be different for everyone. C can be going too seldom like every few days or it can be hard stools that are difficult to pass or it can be going a tiny bit but never feeling done. Bloating and pain is always pretty common too.
