I went to the health food store and they had told me that all types of wheat are an ibs trigger? Is this true? If so that must be very difficult to eliminate, because wheat is in pretty much everything.

Have you read through some of the sticky notes at the top of this forum? Heather explains a lot of this. In short: unless you have celiac (are celiac?), wheat is not a trigger. White wheat products - that is, wheat products where the bran has been removed like white bread - have loads of soluble fiber and are good IBS friends.
If you notice that white bread (good, fresh baked stuff without preservatives or milk products) makes you feel bad and something like white rice (also a good source of soluble fiber) does not, you should get tested to see whether you have celiac.
Tool around the site and you can read all about it!

Actually, I never noticed having any problems with white bread, but I was just courious as to if I should be eating it or not. When you say fresh white bread, do you mean from the deli, ones that are baked fresh everyday or the like the bread I can by at the health food stores. Thanks

I always get my bread at the supermarket bakery. A deli would work too. I never buy bread at the health food store, first because it's so much more expensive, and second because our HFS typically only has "whole-grain" breads (whole wheat, seven grain, etc), which should be avoided... but if your HFS sells white bread, you could get it there too.

The key thing that I've picked up from this site and Heather's books is that fresh bread is the best. Look to see if there are any preservatives or additives - those should be avoided.
Bread can be made with just flour, water, yeast or sourdough starter, and salt. The closer you are to that, the better!
