NEED HELP!!!!! antibiotic troubles!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't know what to do, i have to take this antibiotic to get some teeth pulled, and it is tearing me up. I got a probiotic and it has helped with the D, but I feel so uncomfortable in my tummy, bloated and burning and irritated.I need to take it 2 more days, so please any sugesstions would be very appreciated. should I do a certain diet etc!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You could ask your Dr to prescribe Nystatin. That is a med that helps with "yeast infections" which are a common side effect of antibiotics. Other than that, I would take it easy. Just do a "lite" version of Heather's diet; rice, bananas, toast, etc. Hope you are feeling better soon!

The pharmacist told me to be sure and NOT take certain antibiotics without something in my stomach. If you can't eat anything, maybe you can drink something, say almond milk in the blender with some protein powder,frozen banana, just something to coat your tummy. He said this one pill I am taking would tear me up on an empty stomach! That might be why you are having such an upset! Maybe that will help.
