Does anyone have any experience with an ileocecal valve syndrome? I have been diagnosed by one doctor as having this valve (between the small and large intestine) intermittantly stuck open or stuck shut. A second opinion declared that I'm "focusing too much on that valve" although I've had a pain in my lower right side off and on for 13 years (been sent to the er 2x for false appendicitis). A third opinion posited that the ileocecal valve does not actually exist!
I've done a search on this site and came up empty. Although I can find info on the syndrome on certain websites, I would be much more interested if any of you have had experience with it.

How weird! I'm afraid I haven't heard anything about an ileocecal valve syndrome. Sorry I can't help you.
