Hi, I was wondering if you could answer a question for me? I am concerned with the fact that I have been taking Solgar Digestive enzymes(this is the safest one for me since it is corn free being that I am allergic to corn). I have been taking them for about four days now with every meal. It has been helping. The problem is, right after I take them my stomach has been making noises and it feels like I have gas, but with no pain and no bloating (so far). I thought these were supposed to prevent gas? Is this the normal digestion process when on these pills? Thanks.

enzymes aren't meant to prevent gas, but to help you digest fats, proteins, and carbs. I'm not sure they're all that helpful for IBS, but they shouldn't hurt.
