It's becoming my husbands favorite lunch place to eat and I would like to eat there too, afterall, they must have some good bread right? But does anyone know any of the sandwiches that are there that are safe to eat?

We don't have Panera up here (and I'm jealous!). But I'm a geek and went to their website, and they list their menu and nutrition information here.

Hi Guys I LOVE Panera Bread I got addicted to it when I went to Florida and they just opened one right here on Long Island I was soooo excited but you do have to be careful because it's not all IBS safe. I kind o f cheated when I ate there but it was well worth it!!!!

My husband and I eat there once a week.....What I always get is a bowl of chicken noodle soup, and then they give you a nice piece of sourdough bread, and then I get a side of hummus to go with it. They have a website with all their nutrtional information on it. I find it to be very helpful to find "safe" food. It's www.panerabread.com.

Panera is excellent. I have eaten many of their sandwiches and had no problems. Most of them have different non-IBS safe sauces on them or a few other items (cheese, bacon, etc...)but they are easily replaceable or omittable. The bread is so good though that I could eat it on its own and be a happy camper. I would suggest popping a couple more SFS and/or digestive enzymes and pep. pills to be on the safe side before digging in. Enjoy!

Yes We have had Panera Bread Bakery. Th ey are very good. I have tried several and I like the Tuscan Chicken. Just make sure you adjust your toppings accordingly for you. I also leave any kind of mayo sauce off I also leave the lettuce off. You can change up the bread to whatever kind you like. Good Luck.Stay safe By the way we live in South Texas. Terry

We lived in St. Louis for two years where Panera started (and is called St. Louis Bread Co.) we ate there ALL the time. Now we don't have one anymore. It's so sad. Ah well.
