Hi and Welcome to the Boards,
It is very common to get IBS after having the gallbladder removed as we no longer have the bile the gallbladder produces in helping our digestive tract.
Please read all the information they have here on IBS so you will know what will help you as far as what you are able to eat or not eat, what you can take for it etc.
You will receive a lot of help from others on here who have had this condition longer than we have and everyone here will be happy to help you.
You are not alone in not wanting to leave the house when you are having the IBS attacks as we ALL get that way, but you will find out ways of how you will be able to live with this condition that can be so frustrating sometimes.
Keep checking the posts so you will see who has posted back to you.
Welcome and Goodluck! You're in the right place here!
