I just finally found the metimucil in capsules and was wondering if anyone has tried them.. and with what success if any...I don't use any fibre now scared since I had bigtime D...so would a capsule be safe and in what amount to start....I did try regular metimucil once and that was a terrible situation....so that's why I fear trying it again...But at least this way you don't have to drink the stuff....Or what is anyone word on just adding BranBuds to there breakfast like a couple of tablespoons...any advise would be great....thanks

Winnie,
From what I've gathered, the major downfall with the SFS pills is that they just don't offer much fiber per dose. Also, you might try a different SFS like Benefiber or Acacia, because the powder Metamucil contains both soluble AND insoluble fiber. If you have bad D, that could have contributed to your problems.
I have been using Benefiber and Citrucel powders so far, and they have worked well for me.
