Its not an IBS drug but my doctor gave me some samples of it for monthly cramps and didnt really explain anything to me about it - He was an awful doctor. Anyways I was looking it up on their website and it seemed like its supposed to be a daily drug instead of just for pain at the time? I definitely dont wanna take it everyday because its an aspirin and I know thats not good for IBS.....Any suggestions???

Hello,

I've personally never taken Bextra but it was recommended to me by two separate ob/gyn's for period pain relating to my endometriosis. I know it is often used as a daily therapy for people with arthritis, but you can also use it for occasional pain. Also, it's apparently a little easier on the tummy than Advil and Naproxen.

The only reason I don't take it is because I'm allergic to sulpha, one of it's ingredients But I have heard good things about it.

Kelly
