Hi IBSgirl Love the name by the way. I appreciate your input you aren't "butting in". I think the Honey Maid graham crackers have high fructose corn syrup in them do you know of any that doesn't?

Barbara's Bakery makes some, and has an especially good choclolate graham cracker. But I've only seen them in health food stores. They contain no HFCS. You may try there.

don't shoot me, but these days i really don't snack much, so i'm not much help....
sometimes a Silk yogurt... sometimes a piece of fruit (but i'm real stable, so i can get away with it- i don't recommend it for anyone else unless you know you can pull it off!). if i get hungry between meals i ususally just have a small portion of a meal (leftovers or something). you see, i don't eat gluten so that cuts out tons of snacks, and i've also been ill with something else (not IBS) so not only do i not feel like eating, i haven't been out to the HFS for a real shopping trip to stock up on snacks! now that i'm not really eating sugar.... well, let's just say thank goodness i don't really get in that snacky kind of mood these days!
sorry that's not too helpful...
you know, you can check out that snack list at the top of this board and see what's there..... i'm sure there's a bunch of stuff that doesn't have the sugar. at least, i hope there is!

When you say Graham Crackers are you using regular or lowfat ones? I tried the regular graham crackers when I was first diagnosed and had an IBS attack. I had them for dinner & I might have eaten too many. I now take a Peppermint Cap & 3/4 tsp Accacia before lunch and dinner & this helps me tremendously, I have not had an attack for 1 1/2 months. I guess I could give them another try . For snacks, I like rice cakes (so does my dog).
