I hope you guys don't think I'm nuts, I sure have a lot of questions for one little test The latest one is concerning eating afterwards, I have found that I have absolutely no appetite. So as of right now, I haven't eaten anything solid since Sunday. The gas pains from the test are just so severe I don't want to put anything into my tummy. I assumed I'd be starving but nope, not at all.
Does anyone have any tips for what would be best to ease food back into my belly? Or anything other than Fennel and yoga that might help with the gas pains?
Has anyone else had to go a few days afterwards without eating?
Thanks again, Kelly

I was STARVING after mine, Kel, but I've often had the experience of no appetite and not eating for a couple days. Here's a couple things that have worked for me in that situation:
small bowl of mashed potatoes
bowl of oatmeal
white bread or english muffin torn up into pieces with a little strawberry juice poured on it
bowl of rice with cilantro and diced chicken
tuna on toast
Tip: stuff always tastes better if someone else made it. Get someone to bring you something or make you something. Does wonders for the appetite!
Good luck!

Kelly, are you taking your SFS? Just for a day -- just a day -- try not taking it at all, and see if that doesn't help with all the gas. Then add it back in after you are all "cleared out."
I agree with Kelly about the oatmeal; it should go down real well. But wouldn't you like a nice piece of grilled salmon or maybe some plain white tuna out of the bag (I like the bag much better than canned, it's fresher).
I lost ALL the gas (and the bloating) when I stopped the Acacia. Give it a try, just for one day.

Hey Bev, I actually haven't taking my SFS for a few days, I was told to stop it prior to the colonoscopy and am waiting for the gas to go down a bit before I start it back up. I think it does contribute to my gas but it helps prevent me from swinging over the C, so for that I'm grateful.
Now if I could just get some food into me...the tuna sounds good except I only like my tuna with mayo (low fat of course) and I don't know how the mayo would go down...
We'll see! Kelly
