Today I was at a drugstore that had a really nice health food section and I found No Pudge Brownies! I was really excited because i've been looking everywhere for them with no luck. Anyways, I noticed it says you just need to add yogurt, but I haven't been able to find any plain soy yogurt around here yet. The box mentioned you could sub with applesauce, I was just wondering if anyone has tried that and whether or not it tastes very good? I don't want to waste the brownies so I can wait until I find yogurt, but I really want to try them Thanks! Kelly

I haven't tried applesauce, but I did use cherry yogurt and it was really good. If you can't find plain, pick a flavor such as vanilla or cherry or banana or anything that strikes your fancy. Remember, choose a low fat soy yogurt. Enjoy! AmandaPanda

Vicam - I found these at my local grocery store, Kroger, over the weekend. I made them with applesauce because I didn't want to use the yogurt. They turned out great!! Very soft and chewy...hmm hmm. I ate them with a little non-dairy cool whip.
The applesauce is safe and easy, and most importantly dairy free!
