I would like a little help, next week I am going to be flying to New York and would like to know what type of snacks would be best to take. This is my first trip on a plane since being diagnosed IBS and you know they don't feed you and I want to make sure that I don't get to hungry. I will be taking some Corn Pops but just want to hear from everyone else what they would take and what types of snacks you all like.
Thanks in advance for all the suggestions I will try and use as many as I can.

Hi,
I would probably bring a banana, pretzels, zucchini bread, applesauce, FF crackers with a little bit of peanut butter, maybe a turkey sandwich if you bring a small cooler.
Hope that helps, Leigh

In Eating for IBS there's a great snack I love.. If memory serves its 2 cups of Corn Chex, 2 cups of Rice Chex, 1 cup mini pretzels. Mix together in small bowl honey and canola oil . I think it's 1/4 cup honey .. Not much oil but I cant remember how much (brain-cramp again..) Pour on the mix, stir well then microwave about 5mins, stirring every 90 sec. I stir more often as I've burned it. Let sit til cool. A nice sweet/salty snack. If you have the book, look there to confirm my amounts. Rosey

Yes I love plain bagels also and will probably take some along we are leaving so early in the morning that I will need something for breakfast.

I have made this before as I did get the book and I will probably make it again. I know what you mean about stiring often to not burn it, I did it the first time I made it. Thanks for the suggestion.
