I've been eating one to two of the 6-oz jars of baby food for months now - no problem that I can tell. I stick to the peaches, pears and apple varieties, though. It's high in sugar, but very portable - I keep a few jars in the car for "emergencies" so that I'm not tempted to eat unsafe food. (I wonder if the baby food at a health-food store has less sugar? I hope to go to Wild Oats tomorrow after church). I'm just trying to add in foods v-e-r-y slowly while I'm under so much stress.

I've never tried baby food, but I had good luck 2 days ago with a banana smoothie in the blender. Just a little soy milk and a banana, it got very well blended, and no extra sugar.

I have been eating baby food for the past few months with no problems. I also have the kind that is organic and doesn't have anything added besides the fruit, water, and asorbic acid. Also the ones that I eat have apple mixed with all of them, which helps probably.
