Most of the people I know with IBS are not Jewish, but it does tend to run in families. And I know that lactose intolerance is more prevalent in some nationalities than others. So who knows?

hey everyone
just a little warning..now I don't know if this si true, but someone once told me that the same amount of dough thatmakes one matzah is the same for four slices of bread...so for people like me where too much wheat = five months pregnant bloat...watch out!

Glad to hear that matzoh is soluble fiber; also I think gefilte fish is a great IBS food. It is fish and all the ingredients in it (including the onions and carrots) are totally ground up. The jar I am looking at has 6 grams of protein in 1 piece.
