Well, Happy Day, I'm one of the Weight Losers here, so I can't have any sugaaaaa. Great timing, eh?

So, while everyone else will be having chocolates and bon bons and peeps, I'll be having Jack Daniels.

I love Peeps - especially when they're a little stale.

Lucky you, I hate Peeps. I'm also not a big jelly bean fan... I just like chocolate!! What's a chocaholic to do at Easter time?? I guess I'll have to make sure I have No Pudge brownies on hand so I can grab one whenever I see someone chowing down on a chocolate bunny.

Kree, do you like the NoPudge better than ADBs? The only flavor I can find of the NoPudge is Capuccino -- and I gotta say, I can pass on it. What is the flavor you buy? I may have to order it online.

Of course I'll be sure to order it AFTER I've lost all the weight on our Weight Losers program!

(Whew. I remembered to throw that in just in time...)

You all like Peeps stale? That's very weird. I don't care for the little things... which is good since I can't have them anyway. You wanna know my big Easter obsession? Reesee's Peanut Butter Eggs. Oh lord. Of course they're not good for me in any sense of the word. Still. I might break down and have one at some point. The peanut butter M&M's are addictive too... if you can't tell, I am a peanut butter freak!!

Yep, admittedly I like No Pudge better than anything I've ever made from scratch. I just can't believe how fudgy they are! I buy the original fudge brownie flavor... I tried the peppermint and didn't like it as much. I bet you'd LOVE the original flavor. That stinks that you can't get it near you!

So how's the weight loss coming??

What's No Pudge? Is that a brand name? I've never heard of them but would love it if there was some IBS safe brownies I could buy for when I don't want to bake! Especially with Eastern coming up.

Used to hate them - now I love 'em. And it's now I can't have 'em! They are on display everywhere at the grocery store near me and I want to buy one sooooo bad. But I won't. But I want to.
But I won't.....

I don't want candy. First of all, I'm not much of a candy eater, so it's not going to bother me if I don't have any Peeps or jelly beans or whatever. In fact, I was so sick last year that I got craft stuff and a few gift certificates in my "Easter Basket" from my mom! I liked that much better.

HOWEVER... I will get ONE Godiva dark chocolate truffle and probably hunt down one of those great Raspberry Truffle Martinis that have been haunting me since I heard about them yesterday.

Hey Mags,
Thanks for the website, I checked it out and they look great! I found a few listings of stores in my town that carry them, do you know what aisle they would normally be in at a grocery store? The baking aisle or back in the bakery? I get very turned around in grocery stores as I haven't been shopping for myself for very long, so don't want to get lost!
Thanks!
Kelly

Either in the baking aisle or with the "diet foods" if your grocery store has a separate section for them.

They'd most likely be in the baking aisle or with the "diet foods" like chinagrl suggests, but I spotted them once in my regular grocery story on the shelf up overtop the milk. I never saw them anywhere else in that store, but then again I never looked for them. I get mine at another local produce place. If worse comes to worse, ask at customer service if they carry it.

Good luck hunting them down - they are definitely worth it!

I've seen them in weird places too. One of the stores near me has them in with the diet foods, and the other has them in with the natural foods, like the tofu and soy milk. Who knows.

I hear ya, Jen. Last year I got a CD for Easter. Sigh. But this year I asked for just a few chocolate things for when I feel like splurging.

Enjoy your truffle... and your martini, of course!
