Ok, I'm finally going to my doctor's appointment tomorrow with a GI specialist, two months after trying to make it. I'm just looking for any advice or tips that might make it more worthwhile. I just figure it took me so long to get this appointment, I really want to make the most of it. I'm going to make sure I write down my symptoms, questions etc...so that I don't forget to mention things, any other suggestions? Plus, what tests would be fairly normal to expect? Last time I went to a GI doc, he did a sigmoidoscopy and that was it, and I didn't push for more tests because I didn't know any better. Can anyone tell me what I should expect him to do at the bare minimum (keeping in mind I still dont have an official IBS diagnosis). Thanks guys! Kelly

I would get a colonscopy...that's that only way to test what you have. Make sure they take samples from your illieum..
